Peter and the Tigers

Peter is a postman. He takes letters to the people in a village. His bag is heavy. He is tired and he drinks some water under a tree.

Peter hears a baby tiger crying. It is up in the tree. He climbs up the tree and brings it down. The baby tiger says to Peter, “I am hungry.” Peter gives some milk to the baby tiger.

It thanks Peter.

Peter walks to the village. A big tiger follows him. It walks behind him because it wants to eat Peter. When Peter sees the big tiger, he is afraid. The baby tiger runs and stops the big tiger. It says, “Don’t eat him! He helped me. He is kind.”

Then the big tiger shakes hands with Peter and says,

“We are friends now.”
