因近年臺灣學生於英國雪菲爾大學表現亮眼，英國雪菲爾大學國際學院特別規劃「雪菲爾 菁英計畫」，以彈性的入學條件及獎學金，特許符合條件之臺灣學生可於高三下學期（三月）進 入雪菲爾大學就讀兩期制大學預科課程，九月直升雪菲爾大學大一，三年後即可取得大學文憑，
讓有意留學海外的優秀學生快速接軌國際。
學校介紹
英國雪菲爾大學(The University of Sheffield)位於英國中部的城市雪菲爾(Sheffield)，為英 國生活費最低，也最安全的城市之一。因為位在整個英國的中心地帶，距離倫敦車程約二小時 四十分鐘，旅行到英國其他地區也相當方便。
成立於1905年，在學術上的成就有目共睹。近年來世界排名皆在百大內，其校友也締造 了許多驚人的成績，例如:知名電影「舞動人生」的導演史提夫戴瑞（Stephen Daldry）、英 國首位太空人、英國大法官及6位諾貝爾獎得主。

英臺學制大不同
有別於臺灣高中三年學制，英國高中採四年學制，比台灣多了一年，最後兩年的課程主要加強 專業科目。因此，臺灣高中生要就讀英國大學必須先完成國際預科課程。國際預科課程為英國教育部 與各大學合作，於英國各大學校內成立國際部所安排的課程。國際學生可選擇科系相關領域修習，以 順利直升英國大學。
所以，無論是在臺灣取得大學文憑，或是遠赴英留學，正常情況下，學生完成高中與大學學業總 共所需之時間相同。而此雪菲爾菁英計畫，讓優秀台灣學生於高三下學期完成國際預科課程，更縮短 了總修習時間。

獎學金
凡是錄取「雪菲爾菁英計畫」並前往雪菲爾大學國際學院就讀之學生，每人至少獲得
1,500英鎊獎學金，若參加 11月獎學金甄選會，更有機會獲得獎學金2,500-6,000英鎊，甄選
會相關辦法另行公布。推薦條件

申請簽證準備出發／選擇宿舍／行前說明會（時間、地點另行通知）
