For importation of controlled drugs (including narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances for human use or veterinary medicines as well as active pharmaceutical ingredient), an approval issued by Food and Drug Administration , Ministry of Health and Welfare is required. Importer must return one copy of the above mentioned approval to issuing authority after clearance and endorsement by customs
