第二節、 後續研究建議

一、 變數衡量的方式可再多樣化

建議日後研究的相關變數之操作性定義上可以嘗試使用更多不同研 究所提出的衡量指標,找出最攸關的指標,以提高整體模型的解釋能力。

例如,多國籍企業的海外營運經驗亦可使用其海外分公司數目或是海外投 資年數來予以衡量,將有可能因此發現在不同產業或是在不同市場的研究 結果會有所差異,更能提高模型的適用範圍及預測能力。

二、 研究方法可以更多元

本研究樣本資料的蒐集皆是透過次級資料的方式取得,然而,此種單 純仰賴此種資料蒐集方式有以下兩種缺失:

(一) 因為次級資料本身蒐集與編制方式的侷限性,所以在定義研究 變數的操作性定義上必須遷就次級資料的完整性與可得性,可 能使得變數的衡量指標缺乏相關性與多樣性。

(二) 有許多相關資訊並無法藉由次級資料取得,若能輔以問卷調查 或是訪談的方式加以輔助,將可獲得更全面、更豐富的資訊,

以提升整體研究的完整性。

三、 研究樣本的選擇

銀行業具有被政府高度管理與控制的特性,必須公開揭露許多重要資 訊,因此研究者可以容易地取得豐富的攸關次級資料,對於研究資料的完 整性具有非常大的幫助。但是,本研究的研究對象─在台外商銀行,樣本 數僅在30~40 家之間,雖然擁有完整的次級資料可供研究使用,但是在進 行統計分析時仍有樣本數不足而導致模型不穩定的疑慮。因此建議日後相 關研究若是採取量化方式進行分析,研究對象的選擇應同時兼顧資料取得 的便利性與樣本數的大小,方能讓研究模型具有高度的穩定性與解釋力。
