第五章 結論與建議

5.5 未來研究建議

綜合本研究成果與限制,針對未來欲研究網路輔助跨文化語言學習相關議題 之研究者,給予以下建議:

在「受試對象」方面,礙於本研究之人力及資源,只針對新竹市某高一班級 共39 人施行課程,因而推論有其限制,建議以後若進行相關研究,可擴大課程 實施對象,讓多班學生進行課程,可做更完整之學生跨文化知能評估,蒐集更多 學生之意見。

在「研究內容與題材」方面,建議研究此議題之研究者可再更深入探討「文 化」之定義,歸納出文化所應包含之範疇,讓學習者可以經由此課程習得全方面 的跨文化概念;此外,本研究之學習夥伴來自美國加州,而加州為華人較多之區 域,因此學生習得之異國文化概念可能有限,建議相關課程可以讓台灣的學生和 美國其他地區的學生進行互動、甚至其他英語系國家如英國、澳洲的學生等,如 此一來,學生更能習得不同國家之文化內涵。

在「課程實施」方面,由於實施本課程需要不同科之教師跨領域合作,以及 學校行政制度之配合,建議研究者在實施課程之前必須充分與學校行政單位及授 課教師進行溝通協調,整合不同科系之教師及資源,並確實做好分工,例如英語 會話教師負責於課堂教導英語單字、而電腦課教師則負責訓練學生電腦軟體之使 用等;此外,本研究也發現,在此次課程實施的過程中,學生們很容易因為英語 會話課和電腦課在學校所佔的課程比重不高,或因為此科不是升學科目,而不願 意完成課程所安排之各項活動,建議以後研究者可以與學校及任課教師協調,讓 此課程所佔的成績比例提高,如此一來可能會影響學生之學習態度與成就動機。

綜合以上,本研究提出上述建議,以期國內之跨文化語言課程相關研究結果 更為完整,也期望未來教師、研究者能將類似的活動融入教學活動之中,提升學 生之學習動機、培養學生對異國文化的認知,成為具有廣闊國際視野之世界公民。
