ㄧ、本研究的收案對象是已確定為陰虛證的癌症患者，故無法比較非陰虛 證癌症患者（對照組）在心率變異、基礎代謝率及血壓各方面的差異。
建議未來進行相關研究時，可考慮加入對照組且將觀察及測量的時間 次數增加，應可更客觀的反應癌症患者在心率變異、基礎代謝率及血 壓各方面的差異。
二、由於人力、時間及經費的因素，本研究之個案數比較少，追蹤時間及 頻率也較少，日後可增加個案數且延長觀察時間，更密切掌握陰虛證 癌症患者的心率變異，基礎代謝率及舌色與舌苔的變化情形，應能更 客觀的預測陰虛證癌症患者的存活率。
三、心率變異數指標的標準值至今無統一的標準，目前最廣為採用的是1996 年由 Malik 所提出的測量標準。由於種族的不同，此套標準值是否適 用於國人則尚無定論，但國內目前並無大規模有關國人心率變異數標 準值的研究報告。因此，建議未來應建立國人各年齡層正常人的心率 變異的標準值，以利各領域應用時之判斷。
四、建議未來的研究方向可提供護理介入性措施，例如：食療、按摩、音 樂等，利用心率變異與基礎代謝率及血壓的觀察探討介入措施的成 效，以做為臨床協助癌症患者改善陰虛症狀的實證措施。
