(1) Resistin 的 receptor 目前還沒有被找到,因此由本實驗的結果無法 得知 MES23.5 cell line 是否本身即具有 resistin receptor,所以是否 resistin 經由與其 receptor 結合而產生神經保護作用,亦或 resistin 是 經由不同的 pathway 而達到神經保護的效果,需要更進一步實驗探討。

(2) 本實驗為一細胞株的 in vitro study,僅能由此推論 resistin 對於 dopaminergic 神經元有類似的效果,但在活體內的效果是否一樣,則 需更進一步的動物實驗甚至是人體實驗才能得知。

(3) 以 ZnPP IX 及 KNK 437 來證明 HO-1 及 HSP73 為 resistin 的必需 條件未來可考慮以 HO-1 及 HSP73 的 siRNA 來加以印證。

至 in vivo 動物實驗或人體實驗,證明 adipokines 除了能量平衡(energy balance)的作用外,真正在臨床上有神經保護的作用,將會是下一個 課題。
