4.4 結語
在色彩與音樂之間的關係中,色彩亮度與音高的關係、視覺節奏與音樂
節奏的關係以及色彩與音樂的冷暖、強烈關係都能夠被我們清楚的感覺到,
可以說是色彩與音樂關係中爭議較少的部份;然而經由本文中的文獻探討以 及實驗可以得知,色相與音符之間相關聯的實證,至今仍沒有一個令人滿意 的解釋。從畢達哥拉斯開始提出音樂在結構上的嚴謹比例關係(Musica universalis)之後,理性的思潮從未停止把音樂與色彩相結合。從 18 世紀開 始進入高峰的種種研究,雖然目前尚未獲得具體成果卻仍吸引眾多研究人員 厚望,期盼拉默(Jean-Philippe Rameau, 1683-1764)與科烈里(Arcangelo Corelli, 1653-1713)的奏鳴曲在視覺上所帶來的愉悅程度能與在聽覺上所帶
來的愉悅程度相同,然而卻事與願違(Arnheim, 1986)。在今日,或許只有 idiopathic synesthesia 以及 acquired synesthesia 類型的人們才能真正感受 到「聽見色彩」或「看見音樂」的奇妙經驗,雖然這個研究尚不足以提出讓 一般人也能夠擁有這種奇妙感覺的方案,但希望本研究能在這個領域有所貢 獻,並在後人持續累積研究成果之下,有朝一日,真正達成多元而又合一的 總體藝術。
