本論文希望利用國際古海洋全球變遷鑽探計畫取得的岩芯 MD012414 以探 究鄂霍次克海之鉬含量與同位素的變動。本論文實驗結果顯示沈積物標本經鐵錳 相萃取後分析所得之鉬含量在 2-292cm 及 652cm 至 822cm 變動為[Mo]=15.7ppb

~162.8ppb,而鉬同位素值變動為 δ97/94MoNIST3134=–0.99~–3.12‰。經重複實 驗分析及不同的萃取試驗的驗證得知岩芯的分析結果確為鉬同位素反映環境系 統變動的訊號無誤。

MD012414 岩 芯 的 沈 積 物 鐵 錳 萃 取 相 的 鉬 同 位 素 變 動 範 圍 為

δ97/94MoNIST3134=–0.99~–3.12‰,此訊號與海水的同位素訊號差值達 3.29~

5.42‰之巨。經與已發表的前人研究之結果相比,顯示鄂霍次克海之鉬同位素呈 現異常輕的值。由各研究成果已知在不同的氧化還原環境會造成一定程度的分化 效應,在氧化環境下與鐵錳氧化物共吸附之鉬同位素與海水最大的差距可達 3‰;但在還原環境下自生鉬同位素與海水之值幾乎無差距。因此認為鄂霍次克 海分析的結果除了反應成岩作用外,其異常負值的鉬同位素訊號上是否另有未窺 知的機制則需再進一步研究。
