譜例 12 電腦端譜表

如圖所示,最上端的一線譜為效果器名稱(Effects),凡是任何效果器開關的指示 都是以“ [ ”記號為開頭,後方加上效果器名稱,如“ [ Pitch ”,而效果器關閉的時候會以

“ off ]”示意結束;當多個效果器同時開啟而要選擇關閉其中一個的時候,會先顯示出 要關閉的效果器名稱,並在名稱後方接是“ off ] ”示意其關閉,如“ Pitch off ] ”。中間的 四線譜則取其三個間做為聲道(Sound Track)開關示意圖,由上而下分別是第一組、第 二組與第三組樂器組的收音麥克風開關指是,只要是由黑色線條填滿,便是開啟的指示,

未被填滿則為關閉。最下方的圖是則是影像(Visual)指示,黑色實線代表只需要撥放 的動畫,包括北斗七星、太陽和燃燒的「奎」三個動畫,虛線則代表需要電腦端使用者 執行的現場即時影像,也就是用沙狀物體繪製「奎」與用毛筆畫出軌跡等影像。下圖為 舞台技術譜面化之記譜說明:

第五章 結語

以魁星爺作為主題創作,在宗教意涵上多有請求魁星爺保佑課業、事業順利之意,

也算是對於自己求學過程的一個交代。有趣的是,在寫作過程中為了描繪明聖宮魁星爺 的故事,不知為何在心境上被某種意念督促的感覺-不論真的是魁星爺顯靈鞭策、自己 單純的想像或是想要將作品寫好的使命感。於寫作此作品將魁星爺的元素拆解進行分析 並導入作曲手法時,不知是巧合或冥冥之中自有安排,樂曲架構與拆解下來的元素相互 運作良好,不只完成了樂曲結構,也同時與神聖、世俗時空的理論相呼應,在寫作與完 成此作品的時候驚喜不斷,頗有在廟宇裡面擲筊抽籤的感覺,如臨神諭。

此作品還能再改進的其中一項是影像的部分,肇因於 Max/Msp/Jitter 的影像處理所 耗費電腦 CPU 資源過於龐大,若改為由開放原始碼之影像軟體 Processing 撰寫,所消耗 的 CPU 資源較小,視覺平順度和效果會更加完美。另外是即時效果器的部分,曾經被 建議改用預製電音,而筆者的考量是打擊樂器的力度變化已經非常寬廣,若使用預製電 音會造成兩者音量間的互相干擾而不使用,不過這些考量可在下一階段繼續進行。魁星 爺的故事與精神便在此先告一段落,若筆者力有未逮,還有請各位讀者不吝指教與切 磋。

Effects

Sampler mechanism:

Patch name Sampler, a sampler which has a buffer size of 1000ms. Its playback is reversed and the speed is set to 75% slower. 4 sets of pitch shifting mechanisms are embed, causing harmonic like sounds; parameters of the patch indicates the chromatic steps assigned to the mechanisms respectfully (Ex. “2,2,2,2” means all mechanisms do a major 2nd pitch shift).

Chorus mechanism:

Patch name Chorus, function as a chorus effect.

Reverb mechanism:

Patch name Reverb, function as a reverb effect.

Afterimage mechanism:

Patch name NABgl, function as a motion capture and afterimage mechanism.

7 Stars:

An animation mechanism which draws out the constellation Big Dipper, also a constellation related to the religious figure Kui Xin.

Burning Sun:

An animation mechanism which draws out a big burning sun, embodied with the meaning of Japanese domination in 1937 in Taiwan, burning, task and obstacles in life.

Reversed Words:

A reversed film recording of a burning paper that has a Chinese word written on it, which stands for the religious idol Kui Xin is; embodied with the meaning of surviving from disaster, presented by showing the reversed process of burning.

Forewords

This piece is about the story of a specific religious idol called Kui Xin worshiped in Ming-Shen Temple, Shi-Ding Village, Tai-Shi Town, Yun-Lin County, Taiwan. The idol is one of the gods who is related to learning and knowledge fulfillments. During the domination of the Japanese in Taiwan, the Japanese government proclaimed Japanization towards Taiwanese people in 1937. One of the legislation was to burn all religious idols, an act signifying that the religious realm is taken by the Japanese Gods.

Fortunately, this idol jumped out of the fire pit, escaping the fire, and was hidden safely by a local villager. The idol is then returned in the 1973, Ming-Shen Temple, continuing its duty.

This is a story of having faith, surviving from catastrophe and returning.
