The second limitation is cultural bias. I the researcher am an American female, and no matter how conscious I try to be, there are areas of a culture that I may not fully grasp or articulate with absolute accuracy. I did my best to write this research from an objective point of view, however, though possibly miniscule, there still exists the possibility of cultural bias.
The final limitation is the sample size. Since this study was a case study, only one organization was observed, therefore it is still crucial to investigate a larger sample to see if similar results would be produced.
5.3 Future Research:
During my discussion with P1 and P2, they asked me whether I was including earned social media such as Trip Advisor, because Trip Advisor has been influential in educating the public about how PPSA and PPSE are a sustainable tourism activity, and Trip Advisor is critical to the success of many organizations in Cambodia. P1 mentioned that they are proactive in getting users to leave Trip Advisor reviews and this platform has been greatly important, and it is recently becoming the most beneficial social media platform. With this discovery, I believe that a similar study, could build upon my model, by investigating how and why NGOs and social enterprises respond on Trip Advisor. Electronic word of mouth is becoming more and more important to all types of business, so it is worth exploring how organizations develop their response strategy. Furthermore, it would be beneficial to use this model to access a larger sample of NGOs and social enterprises either in Cambodia or another developing region of the world that also relies on tourism and preserving cultural heritages.

Purpose of the research:
The purpose of this research is to examine how and why social media is used by NGOs in Cambodia. The title of this research is, “NGO Adoption of Social Media for Promoting Sustainability: A Case Study on Phare Ponleu Selpak in Battambang, Cambodia.” This paper is for a Master’s thesis.
What you will do in this study:
You will participate in an interview with the researcher, Mary Caroline Hosey from National Chengchi Univeristy.
This should take about 45-60 minutes.

Your participation in this study will contribute to research in the field of communications technologies. There are no anticipated risks in participating in this study.
