5.4 Suggestions for Future Research

Future research should examine with a larger sample size to better explain the target population: Vietnamese stock brokers. And, another suggestion for the future research is that this study could be replicated in other high stress white collar industries such as banking, insurance, advertising, marketing, media, and/or other countries undergoing their own unique, rapid economic changes.

I am a Vietnamese graduate student currently at I-Shou University in Taiwan and conducting research for the completion of my Master in International Business Administration. This research is about Human Resource Challenges in a Transition Economy: An Exploratory Study amongst Vietnamese Stock Brokers. This exploratory research study sets out to understand and characterize the nature and processes involved in managing stock brokers in Vietnamese stock market. The key objectives of my research will enable human resource managers to better understand and find key factors:

job stress, social support and learned resourcefulness play in employee’s decision to remain with or leave their organization. My academic supervisor for this research is Dr.
