The Practical Guide course has been devised to assist companies that are preparing for the assessment process that allows them to register as meeting the IS0 9000 Standards. Establishing IS0 9000 Standards is an essential pre-requisite of Total Quality Management (TQM), a management concept that is gaining importance in both industrial and service sectors. Many companies have obtained IS0 9000 Certification as an indication of their commitment to quality. HKUST’s courses aim to increase knowledge of quality auditing among the local manufacturing and service sectors of the business community.
These courses are designed for personnel engaging in audit and assessment, and those who wish to register as Assessor /Lead Assessor, and those who wish to become quality auditors carrying out internal audit. In general they are suitable for all levels of management, and those concerned with the implementation of registration of IS0 9000 Standards.
Next month’s courses are jointly offered by the Office of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (R&D), and HKUST RandD Corporation Ltd. , in conjunction with John Dodkins Associates, UK.
