(3) Abstract Today's high-pressure and fast-paced social lifestyle, triggers the desire of adults to return to the simple life and innocence of the past, causing them to strive to preserve their original intentions and the heart of a child. Childhood is the path that everyone goes through, and the experiences that cannot be forgotten subsequently become the most influential sources of people’s psychological states. The author also felt attachment to her childhood because of death of her father. In the emotional bonding that cannot be given up, the author expresses her state of mind through artistic creation. All human behaviors are related to the individual's psychological mechanism, and the author expresses her mental state through painting. Therefore, the author realizes the sense of life in today through the mental state of a subconscious child and expresses her inner feelings in her works with sincerity, discussing the significance of images of her childhood awareness for her works, and exploring the impacts of her childhood memory on her life. Through the process of expressing her emotions through painting, she also tries to use psychology and Magical Realism as analysis basis to explore the influence that the childhood experiences have on the author. This study contains five chapters. The first chapter explains the motive, purposes, scopes and methods of the author in using the hidden childhood consciousness as the research subject. The second chapter is the theoretical basis and literature discussion of the subject. The third chapter lists some of the most influential and inspirational artists for the author and exemplifies their interpretations of their childhoods inside their works. The fourth chapter describes and analyzes the works, which are divided into three series: “soliloquy”, “dream-making” and “warm sun”. The fifth chapter summarizes the research results and the author's self-expectations and prospects toward her future creation. Keywords:. Childhood. Awareness,. Attachment. Contemporary ink II.
