A Survey of Professional

Abstract

After revision article ˰of Elementary Education Act, the government employed a lot of social workers in elementary schools as student guidance. More and more social workers work in the school setting now, professional preparation and their needs of continuing education are more important. The aim of this study was to explore the preparation and continuing education for school social workers in Taiwan. The study adopted survey method and sampling 50 school social workers. Based on these result, some suggestions were recommended for future policy and practice.
