Daylight Saving Starts Earlier in America and Canada from 2007

merica and Canada extended daylight saving time by starting it at 2 a.m. on March 11th, 2007 and ending it at 2 a.m. on November 4th, 2007 , 1is about four or five weeks longer than usual. This change of the system was conducted 2energyconservation and global warming and has been embracedby many scientists andenvironmentalists.Daylight Saving Time is the practice of putting clocks 3one hour in the spring and back one hour in the fall. This is done to increase the amount of daylight time in the afternoon and was first introduced in Europe and America during the First World War 4an energy savingmeasure.
In the last ten years, global warming 5 the most urgent environmental concern on the planet.
America is the largestconsumerof energy and the largest producer ofgreenhouse gasesin the world. People

Since hitting the market in America and Japan last year, Wii has been all the rage.
