二、教學目標二、教學目標 (Objective)

1.認知面：[使學生理解、應用、分析、綜合、比較、推論、評估本課程之理論與概念]：

本課程透過對文學的新認知,對英文成為大學學門(discipline)的歷史觀照,培養學生學會如何將文學/文化元素融入英語文教學,不再視文學為畏途,且高不可攀,不再視文學與英語文教學相互對立.

2.技能面[使學生能獲得運用與實做本課程理論與概念之技巧]：

進階語文訓練,文本閱讀能力(textual power)和英語教學知能.

3.情意面[能引發學生對本課程之興趣，激發學生學習動機，增加觸類旁通與自主學習]：

透過對文學的深度了解,引發學生對文學的興趣，激發學生學習動機，進而樂意將文學/文化元素融入英語文教學.

先讓學生瞭解文學的本質及英文成為大學學門(a discipline)的歷史社會成因,再訓練學生如何將文學/文化做為英語教學素材,使之成稱職的language teacher.
