Since the implementation of the two-day weekend, the increasing demand for leisure and recreation was appeared and changed gradually. A selection from variety of B & B, one of shortest distance near it from consumers was accommodated. In the past studies, the topics are often based in favor of consumer behavior or management of B & B. It was lack of the application of geographical information system as a spatial analysis to assess the status with other related tourism industry.
The main purpose of this study is to explore a spatial distribution of B &
B by GIS in Miaoli County. Spatial Analysis of GIS kriging method and overlay analysis were used to compare between a barrier-free environment and general B & B. Results of this study can be used as tourist reference choice of a travel environment, it also supply government and private industry as a B & B space management or development of the reference.
