本課為說明文,旨在說明便利商店為何能在臺灣蓬勃地發展。第一段以臺 灣擁有世界上密度最大的便利商店起始,第二段則帶到便利商店之所以大受歡 迎,是因為提供了最便捷的服務,除了買東西,還能完成生活裡的大小事。第 三段到第五段開始說明便利商店背後運作的行銷策略;第一點,靠著提供各式 各樣的服務,專家相信會吸引人潮進店、進而促使人們買東西;第二點則是運 用廣告,讓人們相信無論他們需要什麼,都能在便利商店裡找到這些物品;第 三點,便利商店時常將一般的服務結合特別的促銷,來吸引人們入店、甚至願 意付出比預期更多的花費。最後一段以這是「雙贏局面」作結,由於便利商店 提供的服務與商品讓人們能節省時間,更多人入店購買,便利商店能因此獲得 更大的利益,無怪乎便利商店在臺灣會更加壯大。
