第五章 結論與建議

第三節 進一步研究之建議

本研究僅專注於如何藉由相似性測量,以及將類別相似性加入多樣性指標,

呈現使用者的閱讀偏好多樣性,對於其他影響閱讀多樣性之因素,並未深入探究。

然而,應有閱讀背景因素如閱讀書籍總量、讀者面對閱讀的態度等因素皆可能對 閱讀偏好多樣性產生影響。例如,過去一般認為書櫃擁有者之書籍總數,與閱讀 偏好多樣性有關。

研究資料處理過程中,初步觀察個別書櫃書籍總數與分群數之數值分布,發 現書籍總數愈多的書籍,其閱讀偏好多樣性可能愈高。在進一步針對本研究計算 之相似性測量之分群結果、使用者自評之閱讀偏好多樣性與個別書櫃書籍總數做 相關分析,結果卻發現與使用者自評多樣性相關性愈顯著之相似性測量,與書籍 總數的相關性顯著性愈低。

此外,實際將研究中之分群數與個別書櫃書籍總數,作為預測使用者自評之 多樣性的變數,簡單線性回歸結果顯示書籍總數違背排除的變數,而相似性測量 產生的分群數與使用者自評之多樣性呈現顯著正相關。上述結果可發現,我們無 法直接利用書籍總數作為判斷使用者閱讀偏好多樣性的依據,儘管一般而言書籍 總數愈多,閱讀偏好多樣性也愈高。

關於使用者書櫃書籍總數的多寡,除了可能受使用者閱讀偏好多樣性的影響,

在網路服務中,加入網路書櫃服務時間愈長,書籍總數也會愈多。因此,閱讀的 背景因素暫時沒有直接與閱讀偏好多樣性呈現高度相關的現象,其與閱讀偏好多 樣性之交互作用卻值得進一步探究。閱讀偏好多樣性與其他閱讀相關背景因素之 研究,可進一步研究其他因素是否能加入增加解釋使用者自評多樣性的能力,例 如閱讀對讀者的重要性、使用網路書櫃的頻率。
