JiKUST TO HOLD AUDIT WORKSHOP ON TQM

Total Quality Management (TQM) has become important in industrial and service sectors. Many companies has obtained IS0 9000 Certification as an indication of their commitment to quality. To increase knowledge of quality auditing among the local manufacturing and service sectors of the business community, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) will offer two courses of auditing on TQM next month. The first course will be offered from IO-13 January, and the second from 17-20 January.
The course is jointly offered by the Office of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (R&D), and HKUST RandD Corporation Ltd. , in conjunction with John Dodkins Associates, UK.
The objective of this course is to provide comprehensive training in conducting quality audit and assessment. Participants in the course will be provided with the tools necessary to enable them to become professional Assessors/Lead Assessors as they gain more practical experience.
: This intensive four and a half day course is recognised by the Registration -2
Board for Assessors of Quality Management Systems in UK. Completion of the course is a pre-requisite for those intending to become registered as Assessors/Lead Assessors under the Registration Scheme for Assessors of Quality Management Systems, UK.
