My cousin Ted got married last week. His wife’s wedding dress was really beautiful. She made a traditional Chinese cheongsam at one of the bridal shops in Lugang, Changhua. It’s very popular, and lots of women have made their cheongsam there. Ted also wore special clothes, traditional Chinese red robe. He rented it rather than made it. Because women like to keep their wedding dress, men don’t.

The groom,Ted, had two bestmen. They were his best friends in the college, Tom and Bill. They also rented special robes in the store. The three men went to a barber’s and had their hair cut to look pretty handsome.

After the wedding ceremony, all of the friends and relatives went to a restaurant. My uncle, Ted’s father, made a speech and said he was very pleased to welcome his daughter-in-low into the family. He also made a lot of jokes about Ted and everyone laughed. And this made him blush.

There were about 150 people in the restaurant. Although the meal cost a lot, I enjoyed it very much.

During the summer vacation, many people come here for hiking. It is a popular place for people to camp. They can take a rest and see the beautiful scenery while climbing.
