Who made the first jeans?

In 1849, gold was 31 in California. People rushed west to look for it and get rich. But one man followed for another reason. His name was Levi Strauss. He hoped to get rich by selling things to the gold miners.

Levi took his sewing machine with him to the West. He also took lots of heavy cloth. Levi planned to make tents for the miners. But the miners needed something even more. Their pants were worn out from 32 gold. The miners needed strong new pants.

How are tulips different from other flowers?

Who was Arthur Ashe?

Arthur Ashe was a small, thin child. He loved to read. He loved music. Arthur grew bigger and started to play sports. In high school, he played tennis.

How is maple syrup made?

Do you like pancakes? If so, you probably like maple syrup. Maple syrup comes from the sap of sugar maple trees.

Sap is a 43 liquid that has sugars. These sugars are the tree’s food. In winter, the sap is stored in the tree’s roots. In March or April, the days grow warmer, but the nights are still cold. The sap flows up toward the branches during the day. At night, the sap flows back down to the roots.

Today, people are more stressed out than they were in the past. One way to relax is through meditation. This is when people sit still and keep their minds calm. Many people think that this practice is only for monks and religious people. However, this isn’t true. In

fact, many famous people say that meditation is a key to their successes.

One example is the American hip-hop producer Russell Simmons. In his early years, he was very successful but also quite stressed.
