HKUST MBA Advances to #16 in the World in Financial
Times Ranking
The full-time MBA program of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s School of Business and Management (HKUST Business School) has moved up one place on the Financial Times annual ranking to number 16 in the world. It is the only Hong Kong program ranked among the world's top 100 this year.
The HKUST MBA program fared particularly well in the five international dimensions measured in the survey. It ranks number 2 in the world for “international faculty” and “international board”, number 3 in the world for the “international experience” that it provides to students, number 9 in
“international students” and number 17 in “international mobility” which is measured by the employment movements of alumni between graduation and three years on.
HKUST’s research performance remained strong with its “research rank” advancing three spots from last year to 17th in the world. The research rank is a rating of faculty publications in 40 international academic and practitioner journals that are considered to be the most prestigious and respected in their fields.
Professor Leonard Cheng, Acting Dean of the HKUST Business School, said, “I am delighted that the result of this year’s survey reflects well on the quality of the School and our MBA program and reaffirms our leading position in management education.”
