HKUST MBA Claims No.14 in Financial Times Global Ranking
29-01-2018The MBA Program, offered by the School of Business and Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST Business School), has been ranked No.14 in the world by the Financial Times. This is the ninth consecutive year that the Program has been ranked in the top 15 globally.
The HKUST MBA Program has constantly achieved positive results throughout the years. The newly released Financial Times Global MBA Ranking once again reflects the joint efforts made by the Program and the surveyed alumni who graduated in 2014 (i.e. intake of 2012) to understand the business talent that the changing market needs.
Of all the surveyed fields, their career progress, which measured the changes in the level of seniority and the size of the company they are working in today, was rated No.16 in the world or a leap from No.38 last year. Their salary three years after graduation averaged out at USD158,119 (about HKD1.23 million) per annum.
“Our Program has worked closely with the business sector to find out the needs of different companies and recruiters, with the aim of helping students advance careers in their chosen fields,” said Prof Chen Tai Yuan, Associate Dean and MBA Program Director. “We continue to strengthen our career development support for students through professional workshops, career coaching, career fairs and corporate visits. Our graduates are able to meet with executives and prospective employers from well-known companies, and their positive change after the Program is well received.”
