A free public lecture on accounting education and practice will be given by the prominent scholar Professor Katherine Schipper next week at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

Professor Katherine Schipper, currently Professor of Accounting and. KPMG Peat Marwick Faculty Research Scholar at the University of Chicago, is an expert in accounting issues related to corporate financial structure. She is a Co-editor of the Journal of Accounting Research and is very active in promoting interaction between academics and practitioners in accounting.
