Once upon a time Sammy and his sister, Marie, visited their grandparents at their farm. Sammy picked up a slingshot to play with out in the woods. Internet addiction is a sign of Internet overuse in people’s lives. Most addictive users are hooked on a few specific activities, such as computer games, online relationships (including social networking) and online shopping. These are activities that many of us often perform. Some people, however, find them difficult to stop. Their online activities may become more important than their real-life activities. They may allow relationships to die because they only spend time with Internet friends. They may be unable to stop playing computer games and forget daily work and family time. People often turn to the Internet to relax or to get away from their problems in real life. However, some people may make a habit of escaping into the online world. The Internet then becomes a destructive force in their lives.

To check for possible Internet addiction, doctors will ask you a few key questions. They ask about whether spending time online is affecting your school or work performance. They ask if family or friends complain about your Internet use and if you form more new relationship online than offline. They ask if you worry about life without Internet would be useless and boring, or if you lie about how long you’ve been in front of the computer. We use the Internet so much that it may become an unhealthy addiction if we don’t use it wisely. Think carefully about how you use the Internet. Even useful tools can be harmful and dangerous.

Look! There’s a group of alpacas. They have been tamed for thousands of years. Human value them for their soft wool. Alpaca wool can be turned into soft, warm fabrics that would have been very useful to people living in the Andes mountains. Alpacas are still herded in the foothills of the Andes. Most alpacas live in Peru, Bolivia and Chile. They eat hay and grass. Within the herds, they live in family groups ruled by one male, plus females and babies. They’re social animals and interact with each other frequently. They make different sounds to show anger, fear and happiness, or to warn other alpacas of enemies. They’ll fight to defend their family. When they fight, they use their front feet and they spit.

Alpacas are part of the Camelid (駱駝的) family, which includes camels and llamas. Alpacas look very similar to small llamas. They are usually 100-200 pounds and their height is around humans’ shoulders, which makes them shorter than most human beings. They’re different shades of white, black, brown or gray. Their thick wool can make them look chubby, but when

shorn you can see that they are thin and long legged. Their biggest feature is their face. They

can often look like they are making kissing faces under their big eyes. These interesting and unique animals have been part of human culture for thousands of years, and we’re still using them in the same way today.

Besides, tea cups are constantly refilled. Hosts will regularly make sure that teacups don't go empty. When they refill the cups, the person whose cup is filled will tap the table in response to show thanks. To most foreigners’ shock, spitting loudly in public is common. It's not surprising to see people spitting in public in China. Though some are trying to lessen the practice, it isn't considered rude to spit while walking on the street or around others—even on public transportation and sometimes indoors. What’s more, people regularly take naps on the street. Naps are a common activity in China and you'll often see people sleeping on the train, bus, car, or on the street. The activity is so well-known that there is a website—Sleeping Chinese—aiming to photograph the nation's habit of sleeping in unusual places. Understanding the social manners or customs of the country before visiting the country can help to reduce culture shock.
