The Study of Hybrid Power Filter

The harmonic standards have been established for restricting harmonic problems in many countries. Hence, the technique for attenuating harmonics was very important recently . This report presents a hybrid active and passive filters that combined a passive filter and a small capacity active power converter. It can solve the problems of passive filter or active filter, individually. A single prototype and a three-phase prototype are developed to verify the performance of hybrid active power filter.
