- The general unemployment rate (1.9%) and the unemployment rate of local residents (2.6%) held stable as in the previous period (August-October 2017).
Meanwhile, the underemployment rate (0.4%) went down by 0.1 percentage point.
- The general labour force participation rate was 70.4% and the labour force participation rate of local residents was 64.4%, both down by 0.4 percentage points over the previous period.
- Total employment was 377,500 and number of employed residents totalled 278,500, down by 2,300 and 1,400 respectively. Number of the unemployed was 7,400, the same as in the previous period.
