- Licensed motor vehicles totalled 231,430; motorcycles and light private cars accounted for 52% and 41% respectively. New registration of motor vehicles was 1,559 and light private cars took up 50%.
- Casualties of traffic accidents totalled 505, with 2 being killed. A total of 7 fatalities were recorded in the first five months of 2014.
- Gross weight of seaborne containerized cargo increased by 49% year-on-year, with that of imports through Ka Ho Harbour rising by 137%.
- Fixed broadband internet subscribers accounted for 55% of the total. Duration of internet usage was 82 million hours. The cumulative duration of usage reached 386 million hours in the first five months of 2014.
