- The average daily wage of construction workers decreased by 3.8% quarter-to-quarter to MOP715 in the third quarter of 2019, with the daily wage of local construction workers (MOP986) edging down by 0.1% while that of non-resident construction workers (MOP615) rising by 3.0%.

- The wage index of construction workers (89.8) for the third quarter of 2019 dropped by 5.5% quarter-to-quarter in real terms, and that of local construction workers (94.1) went down by 2.4%.

- The average prices of spiral & round reinforcing steel bars and concrete rose by 0.7% and 3.8% respectively quarter-to-quarter. The price index of construction materials for residential buildings (110.3) grew by 0.7% quarter-to-quarter, with the price index of concrete rising by 3.8%.
