The transformation of self-mental imagery : 陳嵐儀創作論述 陳嵐儀、NOTE

ABSTRACT

My creative process is a reflection of my ongoing search for meaning, interacting between the individual subject and client media.

Meanwhile, not only can one give vent to my emotion to clarify the contradiction and pain at heart from the process ofcreation, but also find the recondite meanings of nature and explore the whole life of my own, by exploring self-metal mind constantly. This research is a discussion of my artworks, which were composed during the period from the year 2009-2011. The aim of this research are thoughts and ideas generated from researching literature, creative style and the subconscious was brought into my art works.

Also, through the discussion the art expression method of the subconscious, intuitive, spontaneous, and reflect my concerts through the paint. Besides, through the test by compound intermediary material to research, develop and experiment different using materials and provides emotional release. Finally, the creative process provides introspection for personal development, and can assist in the transformation process and the sublimation of emotions. The paper is structured to address background information of my creation, movement, purpose, method and glossary of terms. And there is a general discuss oftheoretical foundations according to the relevant psychology, aesthetics of theory and analysis of art form. Moreover, this research contributes to a more understanding of artist’s statement and the transformations and revelations that occur through the creative process. Lastly, a small interpretation of my major artworks and experiences, presented and suggestions are made for further research. In the future, I wish to achieve something more fundamental in my drawing. I also want to explore how I can better reflect my critical concerns through the paint.
