一、參加會議經過
The Mineral, Metals, and materials society (TMS) is a member-driven international professional society dedicated to fostering the exchange of learning and ideas across the entire range of minerals, metals, and materials science and engineering, from minerals processing and metal production, to basic research and the advanced applications of materials.
Included among its more than 12.000 professional and student member are metallurgical and materials engineers, scientists, researchers, educators and administrators from 89 countries on six continents.
I attended TMS (The Minerals, Metals, and Materials society) annual meeting snd exhibitiom 2015 with my advisor, Prof.Lin, Kwang Lung and three lab mates (two master students and 1 Ph.D student). This conference was held in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida, USA at March 15-19, 2015. We departed from Taoyuan International Airport at 11.00 am (Taiwan Zone Time) on March 14, 2015 with Delta Airlines then arrived in Orlando International Airport at 22:30 pm on March 14, 2015 (USA Zone time). We went to Destiny Palm Hotel which is near from the conference. We rent a car during conference because the price was cheaper, safe and more convenient than public transportation in Orlando. The next day, March 15, 2014 we went to Walt Disney hotel for registration. We registered to the conference organizing committee and attended the plenary lectures. On March 16 and 17, 2015 we attended some presentations and poster exhibitions My oral presentation was scheduled on March 18, 2015 in Swan Lark room with the “Pb-free solders and emerging interconnect and packaging” topic. The time schedule of my presentation is shown in Figure 1. Before I presented my research, I attended some presentation from other participants in the morning. My schedule to give oral presentations was in the morning at 10.00 am-10.25 am. I gave speech about 20 minutes and 5 minute for question and discussion. There are 3 participants gave question and some advices for my future research. After that, I attended my friend presentation
The next day, March 19, 2015 I attended my friend presentation at noon, then took a look poster session of other participants and exhibition. That day was the last day of TMS conference.

二、與會心得
I have accomplished my presentation in these conferences. The presentation was going well and I met some inspiring peoples who expert in their field. Also, I got some suggestions for my future work. I met people in the field area of my study which I can build network and consult them about my research topic. This is a wonderful opportunity for me and precious experience. I would like to thank my advisors: Prof. Kwang-Lung, Lin who give me opportunity to attend this conference, the TMS 2015 Committee, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and National Science Council (NSC) for making this possible to me. Overall, I am glad to attend this conference and satisfy about my accomplishment in this conference.

This conference is well organized and published. This conference with diverse backgrounds and career stages is very important for people who want to learn from one another, share ideas and add more network. Overall, I would like to recommend to my junior and friends who work in mineral, metal, material especially in the electronic packaging field to attend the next TMS.
