Design and Analysis of the Focus Servo for Equalizer 陳偉華、鄭鴻儀

ABSTRACT

The present DVD-ROM drive on the market, only provide two pair of laser power to different reflex light intensity. Beside,the DVD-ROM drive use the FE signal to compensate the axial wobble (CD:±500μm,DVD:±300μm) which are caused by the rotating disk. The gain signal of the plant will be corrected during the automatic adjustment procedure when the DVD-ROM drive is starting. The thesis use the 16X DVD-ROM drive as the experiments to build the model of plant, try to analyze the FE signal and increase the tolerance of axial wobble(DVD:±500μm).We also figure out the new curve focus characteristics and use the Phase lag-lead equalizer the ways to adjust the parameter try to reach the standard of the system。
