 The overall residential property price index decreased by 1.3% over the previous period (October - December 2018); the indices for the Macao Peninsula and Taipa & Coloane dropped by 1.1% and 2.0% respectively.

 The index for existing residential units went down by 1.0%, with the indices for the Macao Peninsula and Taipa & Coloane falling by 1.1% and 0.9%

respectively. Analysed by year of building completion, the indices for residential units completed between 6 and 10 years ago and for those built between 11 and 20 years ago fell by 2.6% and 2.4% respectively, whereas the index for those completed in 5 years or less edged up by 0.1%. Meanwhile, the index for pre-sale residential units decreased by 2.4%%.

 In comparison with November 2017-January 2018, the overall residential property price index and the index for existing residential units increased by 3.2%

and 6.0% respectively, while the index for pre-sale residential units went down by 3.1%.
