 The overall residential property price index decreased by 0.6% over the previous period (May - July 2019); the indices for the Macao Peninsula dropped by 0.8% while that for Taipa & Coloane rose by 0.6%.

 The index for existing residential units went down by 0.7%, with the indices for those in the Macao Peninsula dropping by 0.9% while that for Taipa &

Coloane rising by 0.3%. Analysed by year of building completion, the indices for residential units completed between 11 and 20 years ago and for those built in 5 years or less fell by 0.7% and 0.5% respectively, whereas the index for residential units completed between 6 and 10 years ago grew by 0.7%.

Meanwhile, the index for pre-sale residential units increased by 0.4%.

 In comparison with June - August 2018, the overall residential property price index and the index for existing residential units decreased by 0.8% and 1.2%

respectively, whereas the index for pre-sale residential units increased by 0.2%.
