(4) A Case Study on the Lite-On Enterprise Foundation as a Practical Model in Promoting Common Good Abstract Launching a foundation has become popular for the enterprises which endeavor to respond in Societal Common Good and to practice corporate social responsibility. The Lite-On Cultural Foundation established by Lite-On Technology Corporation has been recognized constantly as one of the best NPO in Taiwan. And its main task is Project of “Community Voluntary Guidance”. The key purpose of the study is to investigate the operational processes among the Foundation, the Corporation and the stakeholders in order to understand how they promote Societal Common Good. An in-depth interviews and document-analysis techniques were used to collect data. The main findings based on the data analyses are as follows: (1) The Entrepreneurs’ Christian belief becomes visible through common good practices of assembling a "Family-School- Community" system and offering voluntary guidance; (2) The Foundation is acknowledged by the holistic effects of “Community Voluntary Guidance” Project which refers to “Total-Solution Model” of the Corporation ; (3) Responding to the evolving needs of the society makes the sustainable development of the Foundation ; (4) Financial support, total quality control techniques, and communicative supervision from the Corporation improve the Foundation’s operational efficiency; (5) Continuing learning and non-material incentives assist the volunteers’ self-realization in their high quality service; (6) The synergy produced by strategic alliances of the Project stakeholders (such as schools, community groups, governmental sectors, the Foundation and other non-organizations) maximizes common resources and amplifies the recipients interests..
