A Clever Dog

Last Saturday, Susan went for a walk in the hills with her puppy, Koko. Suddenly, it started to rain. Susan did not have an umbrella. She wanted to run home. The road was wet, so she fell and hurt her leg. Koko barked for help but no one came.

Then, Koko ran down the hill. When it saw a man, it barked at him. The man was puzzled. He did not understand what Koko wanted. The man took off his cap and waved it at Koko. Koko took the cap in its mouth and ran. The man wanted to get his cap back, so he followed Koko. It went back to Susan. When the man saw Susan on the ground, he knew why Koko barked at him. He took Susan to hospital.

Susan loved Koko more because it was helpful.
