B Calculating

When you come across questions involving numbers or calculation, you should:

• pay attention to every ‘number-related’ word you hear or see, e.g. price, quantity, date, time, etc.

• write them down as you hear them. Use Arabic numbers or short form (e.g. Mon, Jan, etc) to save time.

• work out the answer by putting the information together.
