Course Objective:
Peer-to-peer (P2P) computing has provided a powerful platform for information distribution. With a P2P architecture, there is minimal reliance on always-on
infrastructure servers. Peers can communicate with each other directly instead. This course will cover the various issues of P2P computing technologies such that students will have better understanding on performance issues and design tradeoffs of various P2P architectures.
