OBJECTIVE

This course provides college students a chance to revisit the progress of their English learning and renew their learning strategies. At the end, via trouble- shooting activities and series of practicing, students can rebuild their confidence in language. In addition to proficiency in English, students can be more sensitive to their own language and culture with the contrast of Western language and cultures that are introduced and discussed in this course.

REQUIREMENT

Stay healthy. A medical report from Doctor is needed for a sick leave. Inform the teacher by yourself if you need a leave.

Understanding and memorizing what teacher has said in class will not be enough.

Students will be asked to get information related to the topics from the textbook and express their own argument to develop their critical thinking ability.
