A fireman saved a cat today from a burning building. The fire happened at 1 a.m. in Tsuen Wan. The cat’s owner and his wife rushed out of the house in their pyjamas. They wanted to return to the house for their pet but the fire blocked their way.
When the fireman arrived, he did not think anyone would be alive. ‘I heard a “meow”. I turned around and found it in the wardrobe,’ said the 35-year-old.

2 From farmer to tour guide From farmer to tour guide Reading Comprehension
Sam is reading a story. Read the story.
A long time ago there lived a farmer in a village. His name was Yuk Tai but people nicknamed him ‘Mr. Buffalo’. Like a buffalo, he was strong and hard-working.
Yuk Tai was good at farming. The other villagers said Yuk Tai’s fruits were very juicy and his vegetables were very tasty too. He also raised some chickens and geese. Every month he took his vegetables and farm animals to the market. They always sold out in a short time.
It was all going well for Yuk Tai until one summer. There was a powerful typhoon. It damaged parts of Yuk Tai’s farm. Many of his animals and vegetables died. Yuk Tai was worried. He had nothing to sell. How could he make a living?
That night, one of his chickens spoke to him in a dream, ‘Don’t worry. You can organise a guided tour of your farm. You can also teach people how to farm. You can even let people rent some of your farm to plant their own fruits and vegetables. They love doing this kind of work.’ Yuk Tai woke up and thought it was a fantastic idea.
No one did this type of tour before.
‘Mr. Buffalo’s Farming Tour’ was a huge success! People loved learning and doing gardening work in their free time. Yuk Tai never had to worry about money again.
