主要產業概況及 未來發展策略
1. 肯亞係東部非洲重要經貿及金融中心，GDP成長率平均超 過5%，國民平均所得已達世界銀行中等收入水準，人口高 達5仟萬，惟貧富差距大，因欠缺官方統計數字，據信肯亞 失業人口佔總人口約40%。
2. 農業為肯亞主要產業，約占GDP1/3，農業技術水準不高，
多屬小農規模，故仰賴氣候變化。另觀光業亦為肯亞重要 經濟收入，儘管2013年至2015年肯亞發生多次恐怖攻擊事 件，觀光業仍持續成長。
3. 肯亞GDP成長率每年平均達5%，然政府財政不佳，基礎 建設不足，難以有效支持經濟成長，相關建設資金主要來 自國際援助，近幾年則成功發行公債募集資金。
4. 為積極吸引外人投資，肯亞政府採取開放經濟體制，包括 開放外匯管制、停止物價管制、採取謹慎貨幣政策及部分 國營企業民營化，標準渣打銀行更表示肯亞為東非重要貿 易潛力市場，外資力道強，經濟活力指標表現良好。
5. 肯 亞 總 統 Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta 於2019年 宣 布 Big Four Agenda，積極推動提供可負擔住宅、醫療照護、發展農業 及製造業，然肯亞政府債臺高築，未來是否能取得相關預 算支應，為政府主要課題。
