本研究初步探討曲棍球選手同儕動機氣候與能力知覺是否能有效預測自我 設限,根據研究結果發現,同儕動機氣候和能力知覺能有效預測自我設限。因此,

依據研究結果,提出以下實務應用與未來研究的建議。

一、實務應用方面

(1) 在實際的教學及訓練過程中,應多從不同角度去了解運動員可能採取何種自 我設限行為或是為何要使用自我設限,並於事前評估哪些心理因素對自我設 限是具有影響力的,以期減少或避免自我設限的發生。且依本研究的結果,

教練應積極塑造工作涉入氣候的練習環境,營造一個讓運動員強調改善、進 步和技術精熟以及運動員之間能夠相互支持與鼓勵的環境中練習,除了減低 選手為了避免失敗或害怕失敗以維護自尊及自信心而產生自我設限,也能提 高團隊中運動員的能力知覺,進而選擇持續參與訓練和付出努力。

(2) 如何有效在實際教學及訓練過程中,培養及訓練選手的專項運動能力,以提 高其能力知覺,並與營造出的工作涉入動機氣候的環境相配合下,增強其能 力知覺和成尌感,對於選手持續付出努力並和團隊中的同儕互相支持、鼓 勵,除了減少使用自我設限之外,更能提昇團隊凝聚力以增進個人及團隊表 現。

二、未來研究方向

(1) 本研究自我涉入動機氣候中團隊內的競爭與能力與能力知覺呈現顯著正相 關,與過去研究不符。量表中此構面的概念應為強調能力比較的自我涉入動 機氣候,但從實際題項的敘述和本研究發現的結果,卻與改善、關係支持的 概念相近,屬於工作涉入動機氣候,進而出現和假設不同的情形,因此未來 有意使用此量表的研究者,需特別對同儕動機氣候量表中團隊中的競爭與能 力此構面進行適當的修訂,讓此構面的題項概念確實落於強調能力比較的自 我涉入動機氣候,才能讓量表更趨於完善而穩定。

(2) 未來研究可再區分運動項目、男女生、先發替補等不同的背景來進行探討;

且在國內運動方面自我設限的研究較少,所以建議仍需要多方面的研究來 驗證,尤在團體項目中,當團隊同儕創造出的動機氣候影響了團隊中的個 體選擇使用自我設限,對團隊可能存在一定的影響,此有待後續的研究來 證實。亦或是未來可以以如何減少自我設限行為以提升運動表現和團隊凝 聚力為方向進行研究。
