第五章 結論與建議

第三節 研究限制及討論

本研究所提出之六個假說中,五個假說透過實證分析後得出顯著相關影響 並接受假說,然而,本研究透過數據量化的方式分析球隊經理人之決策,其對 於應用到不同產業以至於公司決策的分析上仍有諸多限制。

一、球隊策略

本研究對球隊經理人所進行之球對決策劃分為三個構面,分別是球隊組 成、球隊戰術及球隊類型,乃根據 Wong and Deubert (2011)列舉六項球隊經理 人之決策內容中對於球隊戰績有直接相關之決策,然而其他三項策略之對於球 隊戰績的間接影響本研究並未納入研究範疇,若將球隊經理人之球隊策略完整 納入研究模型,對於球隊績效的解釋力或能加以提升。

另一方面,由於球隊策略難以衡量且欠缺過去文獻研究及支持,本研究透 過具體可量化之指標作為球隊策略的衡量及代表,如以球隊比賽節奏作為球隊 組成之衡量、以球隊三分球出手數作為球隊策略之衡量、以球隊主力球員身高 作為球隊類型之衡量。然而嚴格來說,球隊策略無法由單一指標作為衡量基 準,如球隊戰術除了三分球以外,禁區得分比例、球權集中度、陣地戰或跑轟 戰術等有無數球隊戰術及衡量標準。因此本研究以可量化、代表性高、主流的 指標作為球隊策略的衡量。

二、樣本選擇

本研究取 2007-2008 賽季以來近十年之球隊資料作為研究的樣本,並以 2007-2008 賽季之績優球隊作為研究對象,然而 NBA 的歷史超過 70 年,同樣的 研究若以 NBA 所有賽季作為樣本進行,或不同的球隊作為研究對象,或有不同 的研究結果。

三、模型設計

本研究以球隊戰績作為應變數,探討球隊策略自我複製程度和市場模仿程 度對其之影響,然而,NBA 畢竟為一營利單位,球隊戰績高並不一定代表球隊 經營利潤高,因此球隊戰績或非為球隊管理階層唯一之考量目標。球隊管理階 層對於球隊戰績或球隊經營利潤之相對優先順序或考量比重乃球隊內部資料,

因此本研究以球隊戰績為應變數,未考量球隊經營利潤,然而若能以更完整的 資料將模型劃分為球隊戰績及球隊經營利潤兩個模型,或能更清楚的說明球隊 策略自我複製程度和市場模仿程度對於不同目標時之影響。

四、未來發展

本研究之研究目的為透過探討 NBA 產業之球隊策略自我複製程度和市場模 仿程度對球隊戰績之影響關係,進一步預期得出何種策略對於球隊戰績之影響 是較佳的,又原因是什麼、是否在環境的改變後又會得到不同的結論。並依據 以 NBA 為例的研究結論探討是否可以同樣適用在不同的產業以至公司治理上,

在環境的改變下,自己的成功經驗比較可靠還是模仿其他成功標的比較有效。

因此對於未來研究者可延續之研究,NBA 為例的研究結論是否可以同樣適用在 不同的產業以至公司治理上,更甚者如何套用及應用為對於公司治理上極其有 意義且有潛力之研究。
