結果也與 Her & Li (to appear) 的分類詞為漢語的單一起源假設不謀而合。
此外，波斯語也因分類詞在使用上不顯著的特徵，也被認為是受到其他語言影 響而來，本文依據地理環境初步推測是從其東南方的印度亞利安語支傳遞而 來，如此假設證實，則 Her & Li (to appear) 所提出 SMATII 分類詞起源，漢 語的影響範圍將會擴張至本文的阿爾泰語和波斯語所在的印歐語系。
5.2 研究限制和未來研究
本文已盡可能在過往文獻中搜尋分類詞，然而有些文獻是由該語言的文字 書寫，故造成即使有分類詞存在也難以判讀的情況。此外，某些少數民族的語 言的文獻本就不多，加上阿爾泰語系的分類詞本就屬非必要的存在，就算有該 語言的文獻，也不一定會有分類詞的資料，使得搜尋語料更為困難。而在語料 搜尋上，各文獻對於分類詞的稱呼有所不同，除了常見的 “numeral
classifier”還有 “counting word”、“measure word”、“numerator”等 稱呼，定義較為紊亂，也會使得蒐集語料出現遺漏。此外，在未來研究當中，
對於大多數的阿爾泰語系雖然也與漢語或波斯語有過密切的交流，但卻沒有產 生分類詞的現象可以進一步的探討，根據 Her (2012) 所述，語言當中的複數 標記似乎與分類詞存在著「互補」的特性，即分類詞和複數標記不會同時出現 的現象，故未來可以針對阿爾泰語系語言中的分類詞以及複數標記詳加比對。
最後，本文對於阿爾泰語系和波斯語的分類詞起源雖做出初步的解釋，但 因涉及範圍廣泛，歷史和地理等領域都需被考慮，目前仍未有文獻可以佐證或 是驗證本研究的正確性，故未來仍需更多研究，以驗證假設的可靠度。
