本研究設計雖經仔細安排,然而仍存在下列幾項限制:

1.樣本限制

本實驗之樣本僅取苑裡國小五六年級學生,樣本具有地區性。由於數位落 差存在城鄉之間,相對的其電腦網路自我效能亦可能存在差異,因此本研究之 推論應只限於鄉鎮地區國小高年級學生。

2.分組模式

本實驗為了觀察高、中、低效能學生分別在高、低效能情境之下之效能變 化,因此各組型內之組員自我效能差異性不足,如高效能者面對的組員只有一 位效能不同,如此情形亦發生在低自我效能者的比較情況。所以若能設計較為 明顯差距的效能情境,其差異可能更為明顯。

3.任務性質

本研究以加總性之網路搜尋專題為任務,小組績效以組員個別之表現加總 來衡量。由於任務性質對小組合作之模式有決定性之影響,因此如果本研究之 任務改為其他模式,如最大表現或是連結性的,則本研究之推論尚須進一步驗 證。

4.網際網路對小學生的適用性

本實驗任務為網路搜尋合作,在合作過程中將無可避免的受網際網路中五 花八門資料所影響,其中充斥許多遊戲誘惑,偶有發現學生對小組合作不專 心,而私下到遊戲網站。且在網際網路上的資料對小學生來說其適用性尚待改 進,雖然資料豐富,但組織仍然鬆散不全,或有錯誤之虞,而這些均是本實驗 未控制之變因。
