第二節 研究限制與後續研究建議

匯流後之行動通訊服務公司與產業環境的因果關係

本研究從數位匯流可預期的改變出發,說明行動通訊服務公司與其電信產業 內各廠商之間競爭優勢的消長,然而除了本身的核心能耐之外加上迎接匯流的衝 擊,原本的價值關係已悄悄改變,隨之而來的便是電信產業環境的變化。無法自 外於全球產業體系與孕育廠商能耐的本土產業環境特性(Foss & Eriksen, 1995)。

例如英國電信所處的歐洲與中國移動所在的中國即存在顯著的差異,而大型組 織,如 Vodafon,對所在的產業環境亦具有可觀的影響力(Perrow, 1986; Hirsch, 1975)。因此,匯流後之行動通訊服務公司與產業環境的因果關係,可為進一步探 討之研究主題。

電信產業結構改變後之價值鏈重整

經過三種匯流趨勢的演進,今日的電信產業結構更複雜,新成員有:有線電 視產業、數位內容產業、廣播產業、廣告產業及金融服務業等。對往後的營運方 向與企業政策的擬定有重大的影響,產業價值鏈的重整是必然的過程。本研究著 重於數位匯流對電信相關產業的影響,然而價值鏈的重整與企業能力的交互作

用,可做為下一階段的研究項目。

數位匯流之政策制定探討

本研究採用定性之研究方法,著重於個案企業如何進行企業活動提升競爭優 勢,以及在現有的基礎下建構出新的服務與產品,例行動電視、行動廣告、隨行 定位及整合型行動汽車資訊系統等。許多創新服務是需相關的政策制定來配合,

在此較少著墨,政府法令制定的方向影響產業發展為何,值得研究。
