儘管上低音號相較管弦樂團及管樂團的編制樂器是屬於較晚才被發明的樂器,但近 年獨奏作品卻以驚人的速度倍增。其中,種類可粗分為常於音樂會穿插演出的娛樂小品 與探討樂器藝術極致的嚴謹學術創作,而本曲即為後者的代表作。透過詳盡的分析解構,
看似複雜冗長的曲子似乎變得平易近人許多:所有動機在一開始就全部亮相,在每個變 奏都依序把選定的動機做發展,並在此曲最後賦格的部分又再次點題,將所有動機再次 收斂重現。
筆者期望透過這篇分析與詮釋論文可以帶給臺灣上低音號的研究者些許協助。本曲 與其他早期的上低音號作品比較不一樣的是內容包含許多罕見的特殊演奏技法,模仿長 號的滑音、自身形成和聲的雙音、為詮釋由兩個喇叭口輪流傳出聲音的同音異指法,這 些技法輪流且頻繁地出現於本曲,一般情況下上低音號作品通常只採用一種,極少超過 兩種,若演奏者能精通此曲的各式技巧與音樂風格,相信在目前現代曲目演奏上都不成 問題。
此篇論文已就樂曲的旋律、結構及各式特殊技巧做完整的分析討論。然而,在研究 分析的過程有許多值得另撰文深究的思考方向逐一浮現,如:各式樂曲及演奏元素是如 何在保留各自的獨特性格上相互融合、對此無調性作品作曲者在和聲進行上是否有特殊
