原始 55 項以及 61 項活動的中文版 CAPE / PAC 使用於臺灣自閉症學童有可 接受至高的再測信度,可以適用於評量臺灣自閉症學童的休閒活動參與表現,若 細分不同的活動種類,可能會因為題數變少導致信度降低,結果解讀應謹慎。臺 灣自閉症兒童在休閒活動參與表現較一般兒童侷限,不僅參與的活動種類較少、
強度較低,而且多半獨自一人或與家人共同活動,鮮少與同儕或朋友一起,尤其 在兒童主動選擇的休閒活動中差異更加明顯,但是在有從事的休閒活動中,自閉 症兒童的參與強度以及從事活動的地點則與一般兒童類似。此外伴隨動作問題使 自閉症兒童的參與強度以及活動的對象更為侷限,尤其是在娛樂性質與自我促進 類型的活動,但是卻沒有發現動作問題對於體能活動表現的影響。在學齡期階段 兒童的活動多由家長安排或陪同參加,自閉症兒童主動參與的問題不容易顯現,
但隨著兒童發展漸趨獨立,休閒活動參與受限問題可能會變得更加明顯,因此,
我們建議在學齡期階段應多給予環境的支持與機會,尤其是體能、主動的社交活 動,或是能促進溝通的互動式團隊遊戲,盡量拓展自閉症孩童在多方面的主動興 趣,而非只是被動參與大人所安排的活動,以避免自閉症學童的活動參與隨著年 齡增加而越趨侷限,並且促進兒童在參與的自主性以利日後發展。
